Care Assistants required in Warwickshire and Northamptonshire

We are recruiting professional, reliable, caring people who want to make a real difference to peoples’ lives by providing high quality relationship centred care to service users.

As a Care Assistant, you will be providing first class care to service users in their homes, hospital setting, Residential and Nursing homes. A good understanding of health and safety measures is also crucial to be successful in the role.

Your day-to-day duties may include:

• Helping with personal care like washing, using the toilet and dressing
• Preparing food, feeding and giving out medications
• Supporting families to get used to new caring responsibilities
• Giving emotional and practical support to vulnerable adults
• Working with other health and social care professionals to provide individual care and development plans

What you’ll need:

It is highly desirable to have some experience in a caring role, this could be professional or personal experience of caring for someone you know. Additionally, you will also need:

• Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, as you will be working with vulnerable adults
• The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
• Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of CQC/Care Standards Health and Safety at Work Knowledge of client group is highly desirable *
